Jaguars (3-3) Will Travel To Tennessee Sunday Coming Off Bye Week

Montell Owens talked with Sam Kouvaris on the End Zone about the bye week and what's to come against Tennessee on Sunday.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- With the Jaguars coming off a bye week, Montell Owens, one of the team's top special teams players, joined Sam Kouvaris on the End Zone to preview the upcoming week.

The Jaguars (3-3) will travel to Tennessee to take on the winless Titans (0-6) on Sunday.

Owens said the team used its bye week to take some time off and regroup after the first six games of the season.

"A lot of guys want to think that this is a sprint, but we all know this is a marathon," Owens said. "It's a long season, so whenever you get a chance to really get out of town and refresh your mind, and you spend time with your family, that's always a good thing."

Jags Coming Off Bye Week

Owens, who is in his fourth season, wasn't healthy early in the year, missing all of the preseason, but he said he has caught up quick.

He said the team got back to practice Monday to prepare for their division rivals. The Titans are also coming off a bye week.

The Jaguars dominated the teams' first meeting in Jacksonville 37-17 earlier this month.
