The Florida Gators and Florida State Seminoles were among the 65 teams to see their names pop up on Selection Sunday.
Florida received a No. 10 seed, while Florida State was picked as a No. 9 seed, both teams out of the West region.
The Gators (21-12) will play No. 7 seed BYU in Oklahoma City on Thursday in the NCAA Tournament first round.
The Seminoles (22-9) will take on No. 8 seed Gonzaga in Buffalo on Saturday.
The Gators were among the last teams chosen to make the field after losing in the quarterfinals of the Southeastern Conference tournament on Friday.
Florida is making its first appearance in the tournament since its back-to-back national championship run ended in 2007.
“We’re very, very excited, and grateful for the opportunity," Florida head coach Billy Donovan said. "I’m most excited for our players having a chance to experience this. For most of them, this is something they haven't been through yet. They’ve worked so hard from day one, and it’s great to see them rewarded.”
The Seminoles are making their second straight appearance in the Big Dance.
