Tim Betros' 33 yard TD run seals the comeback victory

The Bolles Bulldogs hoist the Florida High School Athletic Association Class 4A championship trophy after their come-from-behind victory over Booker T. Washington in the Citrus Bowl on Saturday night.
The Bolles Bulldogs scored 21 fourth-quarter points to rally from a 13-point deficit and shock Miami Booker T. Washington 33-25 on Saturday night in the Citrus Bowl.
The win earns Bolles the Florida Class 4A championship --the Bulldog's 11th state football title.
Booker T. Washington (12-2) led 25-12 after Treon Harris scored on a 5-yard run in the third quarter.
Bolles (13-1) battled back with a bruising ground game led by junior Tim Betros, who scored the go-ahead touchdown with 3:52 remaining in the game.
Cody Boswell recovered a Washington fumble on the ensuing kickoff for and ran two yards for a touchdown to push Bolles' lead to 8 point.
Washington's final drive pushed them to the Bolles 5 with 30 seconds remaining, but his fourth-down pass was tipped and incomplete and the Bulldog celebration began.
Milton Revell and D.J. Stewart scored touchdowns for Bolles. Betros finished with 117 yards on 14 carries.
The win gives Bolles 11 state titles -- 10 under head coach Corky Rogers. It was also Rogers' 70th playoff win, a state high school record.
Bolles won dispite five fumbles -- three recovered by Washington -- and being outgained 367 to 293 by the Miami team.
“That’s kind of the way it’s been. It hasn’t been easy for us in a lot of games this year,” Rogers told GatorCountry.com “But when you play hard, good things happen to you.”
