JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Florida and Georgia fans gathered at the Jacksonville Landing to watch the rivalry game unfold Saturday.

"It's wild, honestly. I came down not knowing if I was going to go to the game or not but I just heard it was an experience, so we had to come down and check it out," said Chris Snyder.

The bark versus bite went beyond the field. The rivalry spilled out into the Landing to see which fans did the best tailgating.

"It's awesome. It's a lot of fun. This is our first Florida-Georgia game so we're soaking it up," said Kelly Kahn.

Long-time alumni moms were out to show they wouldn't be outdone by college freshmen.

"Oh my god, we're as crazy as they are!" said Angie Dobbins.

For some, the match-up outside the stadium was as much fun as what was happening on the field.

"I came for the game, but this is definitely a good appetizer," said Tyler Trefg.

And there was still good times to be had.

"What are you guys doing tonight? We'll figure it out. I wish I knew, might stay in the van again," said Snyder.
