Davis Cup practices open to the public

The U.S. and Brazil will hold free workouts Wednesday afternoon

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

The U.S. and Brazil Davis Cup teams will each hold free, open practice sessions for fans Wednesday at the Jacksonville Veterans Arena.

The U.S. Davis Cup team will practice from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. The doors will open at 3:45 and the first 600 fans will be admitted. Brazil will follow the U.S. team with an hour workout from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Fans will not need a ticket and may enter the arena through the main entrance along A. Philip Randolph Blvd. Free parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis in Lot Z on the corner of Duval Street and Palmetto Street.

The U.S. team features John Isner and Sam Querrey in singles while the Bryan brothers will play doubles. Brazil counters with Thomaz Bellucci, Thiago Alves, Marcelo Melo, and Bruno Soares.
