The deal is worth $120.6 million, NFL.com's Albert Breer reported Sunday night. It is the richest contract in NFL history.
The only remaining issue to iron out deals with marketing, and that is expected to be settled quickly.
Flacco's new contract includes $52 million in guaranteed money, and he also will receive a $29 million signing bonus, according to the NFL.com report.
He is scheduled to earn $30 million in Year 1, $51 million through Year 2, $62 million through Year 3, $80 million through Year 4, and $100.6 million through Year 5.
Option bonuses of $15 million and $7 million are also part of the deal.
