Bolles' football team is headed to the Florida championship game for a 12th time and three other area teams advance to the semifinals after victories Friday night.

• Fletcher quarterback Evan Orth scored on a 1-yard quarterback sneak with 25 seconds remaining Friday night to beat Timber Creek 31-27. Fletcher (11-2) will travel to Tampa to battle Plant High School (12-1) in the Florida 8A semifinal game.
  
• First Coast's Daniel McMillian interception of an East Ridge pass just before halftime put them up 21-7 and the Buccaneers held on to win 28-21.  First Coast (13-0) will host Lakeland (13-0) next Friday, with the winner advancing to the state 7A finals.
  
• Bartram Trail (12-1) is headed to the state 6A semifinals for the second time in its 12-year history after winning its region Friday night.  The Bears were down 3 points at half time, but dominated the second half to defeat Pace 34-24.  Bartram Trail will travel to Seffner in the Tampa Bay area to take on Armwood (13-0) on Friday.
  
• Bolles left no doubt in the the 4A semifinal game that they were headed to another state title game.  The Bulldogs scored two touchdowns in 14 seconds in the first quarter and never looked back in the 49-7 rout of East Gadsden.  Bolles (12-1) will face Booker T. Washington (11-1) at 7 p.m. Saturday in Orlando's Citrus Bowl.
  
• Ponte Vedra's title hopes were dashed Friday night in a 20-6 loss to Crawforville Wakulla.  Wakulla scored first, then a Sharks fumble on the kickoff return led to a Wakulla field goal.  Ponte Vedra's only touchdown was followed by a blocked extra point, and the Sharks could never turn the momentum of the game.  The Sharks end the season 12-2.
