Scouts for the Baltimore Orioles have been banned from attending games sanctioned by the South Korea amateur governing body.

The Korean Baseball Association took the measure after the Orioles signed the country's top high school prospect to an international free-agent deal.

The KBO has field a formal complaint with Major League Baseball over the signing of 17-year-old lefthander Kim Seong-min, claiming the team did not follow proper protocol.
