Providence beat Tampa Prep 4-0 this morning in the Class 3A baseball semifinals to advance to tomorrow's championship game.
Tyler Martin and Zach Favre combined on a two-hit shutout and Brooks Lockett led the offense with two rbi.
The Stallions improve to 26-5 and will play for the state championship tomorrow morning at 11:05 against either St. Petersburg Catholic or Delray Beach American Heritage.
Providence is seeking its first state title since 2008.
