Legendary college basketball coach Rick Majerus, who took Utah to the 1998 national championship game, died Saturday at 64, USA Today and Fox Sports reported.
His girlfriend confirmed his death to USA Today. Fox Sports attributed the information to a source at St. Louis University.
Majerus coached at Marquette University, Ball State University, the University of Utah and most recently at St. Louis University.
He stepped down at St. Louis last month for health reasons, Fox Sports reported.
Majerus' record over 26 years was 520 wins and 219 losses, according to Sports-Reference.com.
