Trojans will contend for their 10th state title

LAKELAND, Fla. -

Sherranda Reddick scored 21 points and the Ribault girls basketball team held off Orlando Jones, 43-42,  to advance to the 4A state championship game.

Ribault has won a record nine state championships in girls basketball but are looking for their first title since 2003.  They will face the Dunbar at 2 p.m. Thursday in Lakeland.

The Trojans trailed 35-32 with 6 minutes to play, but they used their trademark press to go on an 11-2 run.  Reddick hit the Trojans only three pointer of the game in the run and also added a layup and 3 free throws. The Trojans are 29-2 on the season.
