JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Sharks kicker Marco Capozzolli saved the day with a 51 yard field goal as time expired to give the Sharks a 58-56 win over Georgia in the first round of the Arena League playoffs.

The Sharks built a 48-21 lead five minutes into the second half before the Force staged a furious comeback. The Force scored with one minute remaining in the game to take a 56-55 lead. The Sharks were unsuccessful moving down the field so with 6 seconds left, from their own 14 yard line, coach Les Moss sent in Capozzolli. The kick was good from the time it left Capozzolli's foot setting off a wild celebration.  It is the longest made field goal in Sharks history.

Quarterback Bernard Morris was 19 for 35 for 193 yards and 5 touchdowns. Jeron Harvey and Josh Philpart both had 60 yards receiving while Morris led all rushers with 67 yards and two rushing td's.

The Sharks play at Philadelphia Friday in the American Conference championship game at 8 p.m.  The game will air live on the NFL Network.
