No. 10 Florida has landed the top two high school basketball prospects in the state.
Guard Kasey Hill and forward Chris Walker, both regarded as five-star recruits and widely ranked in the top 10 nationally, signed letters of intent Wednesday to play for the Gators.
Hill, a 6-foot-1 ball-handler from Eustis, chose Florida over Kentucky, Louisville, Georgia Tech and Florida State. Walker, a 6-foot-10 shot-blocker from Bonifay, chose the Gators over Kansas, Baylor and Florida State.
Coach Billy Donovan says both players "have a chance to have tremendous careers here."
The Gators also will add transfers Dorian Finney-Smith and Damontre Harris next season. Finney-Smith transferred to Florida from Virginia Tech, and Harris left South Carolina to join Donovan's team. They have to sit out this season under NCAA transfer rules.
