There's been a lot of talk of a potential Eric Gordon deal, but so far it's been all smoke and not even a hint of fire. Still, it's probably a good idea to preemptively discuss what would comprise a good Gordon deal if such a thing does end up hitting. For me, a deal like the rumored one New Orleans would like to make involving Klay Thompson would be the baseline -- a young player with future potential, with the team having to take back a bad deal or two to make the money work. If those deals did not come off the books by 2014 though, I'd balk.
