Bolles and UGA grad John Theus drafted by 49ers in 5th round

Jacksonville native John Theus works out at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama.

With the 145th pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers selected Georgia offensive lineman John Theus.

Theus joined the Bulldogs as five-star recruit out of Bolles High School in Jacksonville, Fla. He started in all 13 games in 2015 and was voted Geogria's overall team captain at their postseason awards gala. Theus was a First-Team All-SEC selection by the Associated Press and by the conference's head coaches.

"Theus is in a good slot there in San Francisco," said NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock during Saturday's broadcast.

Theus is the 7th player drafted into the NFL that was coached by Corky Rogers.
