#2 Florida beats Ole Miss 75-71

It is the 6th straight win for Florida after trailing or tied at halftime.

OXFORD, Ms. – 2nd ranked Florida survived a red-hot Marshall Henderson in the first half as they held on for their 19th straight win; 75-71 in Oxford Saturday.

Henderson hit 5 3-pointers in the first half and had 22 points.  However, he was held scoreless in the second half as the Rebels lost their 4th straight.

Scottie Wilbekin led the Gators with 18 points and added 7 assists.  Michael Frazier II added 17 as Patric Young added 12, including going 4-4 from the free-throw line down the stretch.

With the wins over Auburn and now Ole Miss this week, coupled with top-ranked Syracuse falling to Boston College earlier in the week, the Gators can claim the top spot in the polls when they come out on Monday.

It would be the first time since 2007 that the Gators would be ranked #1.
