JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – It’s hard to believe that 10 years have passed since the Florida Gators men’s basketball team won back-to-back NCAA titles in 2006 and 2007. On Sept. 10 Billy Donovan and members of his team will be honored prior to the Gators football game against Kentucky.

In addition to Donovan, Gators legends Joakim Noah, Al Horford, Corey Brewer, Taurean Green and other others will be back on campus for the reunion. According to Floridagators.com this will be the first time this group has been together since the end of the 2007 season.

After spending 19 years in Gainesville, Donovan left Florida to become the head coach of the NBA’s Oklahoma City Thunder in 2015. He told Floridagators.com that he’s really looking forward to this reunion.

"It's going to be great. After that second [national] championship, once the school year ended, those guys had to travel all over the place, get ready for the draft, go to summer league, so there wasn't much time after that to be around one another. It'll be nice for all of us to catch up."
