LAKELAND, Fla. - Ed White's first trip to the final four was a quick one as defending champion Miami Norland took control early and won going away 68-40.
The Commanders took a 3-2 lead 26 seconds into the game but the Vikings answered with a 13-0 run and led 19-7 after the first quarter.
Foul trouble and poor shooting doomed the Commanders. They were 13 of 49 from the field and committed 29 fouls.
The Commanders end the most successful season in school history 25-5.
