In classes 5A-8A only the district champs will be guaranteed a playoff spot. The four remaining playoff spots will be selected by a points system.

Bolles and Trinity are historically two of the powerhouse programs in Jacksonville and have combined for 18 state championships. Ponte Vedra nearly came up with its first state championship, narrowly losing 35-33 to heavily favored American Heritage in last Friday’s 5A championship game.

Bishop Kenny, Westside and Parker are the remaining members of District 4-5A.
