JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Former Florida Gator and Jacksonville Jaguar Fred Taylor has been named to the 2015 Southeastern Conference Football Legends class. Taylor played running back at Florida from 1994-1997. During his senior season he led the Gators in rushing with 1,292 yards and 13-touchdowns and earned third-team All-America honors.
Following that 1997 season Taylor entered the NFL draft where he was selected in the first round by the Jacksonville Jaguars. He would go on to a Jaguars team record seven 1,000-yard rushing seasons and rank No. 15 on the NFL's all-time rushing yards list.

Taylor and the rest of the 2015 SEC Legends class will be honored during the weekend of the SEC Football Championship Game (Dec. 4-5), in Atlanta Georgia.
