Walker's eligibility has been in question since arriving in Gainesville this past December.

"I appreciate all the support from UF, Coach Donovan and my teammates, and I'm looking forward to helping the team any way I can." Walker said in a statement Wednesday.

Gators head coach Billy Donovan said that he is just happy to move forward, ""We're glad there's a resolution for everyone involved, especially for Chris.  We are ready to move forward."

According to the NCAA, the reason Walker had missed the last 12 games was due to accepting free airfare, cell phone, apparel, and meals while he was a prospect.

In addition to his 12-game suspension, Walker will be required to donate the $270 received from agents to a charity of his choice and serve 80 hours of community service for the remaining benefits received.
