JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

The Jaguars theme of "moderately aggressive" continued Tuesday night as they added former Vikings running back Toby Gerhart to the team.

Gerhart, who turns 27 this month, rushed for 1,305 yards and 5 TD's in 4 seasons in Minnesota.

The Heisman Trophy runner-up in 2009, averaged 7.4 yards per carry for the Vikings in 2013.

According to sources, his contract is for 3 years, $10.5 million, with $4.5 million in guaranteed money.  He should have an opportunity to play significantly more with the Jaguars, especially with the release of Justin Forsett Tuesday morning.

The Jaguars may not be finished on Day 1 of free agency.  Former FSU and Tampa Bay linebacker Dekota Watson is in town for an official visit.
