CLEVELAND, OH – The Mack attack is staying in Cleveland. The Browns matched the Jaguars' 5-year, $42 million offer to center Alex Mack on Friday afternoon. Cleveland had five days to match but they did not waste any time making up their minds.
Mack is a two-time Pro Bowl selection who could have bolstered the Jaguars' offensive line. Jacksonville needed help at the center position after the retirement of Brad Meester.
