Jaguars release DE Jared Odrick

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – On Monday the Jacksonville Jaguars released seventh-year DE Jared Odrick.

Odrick, 29, signed with the Jaguars as an unrestricted free agent on March 11, 2015, and appeared in 22 games over the past two seasons. Odrick started all six games in which he played in 2016 and totaled 12 tackles, including 1.0 sack. Odrick was placed on injured reserve on Dec. 10, 2016, with a shoulder injury.

Since being drafted by Miami in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft, Odrick has started 63 of 87 games and registered 170 career tackles, including 23.0 sacks.
