JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Both of the Jaguars 6th round draft picks in the 2016 NFL draft have signed their rookie contracts Thursday.
Brandon Allen, 6-1, 217, totaled 7,463 career passing yards, which ranks third in Arkansas history. He made 38 career starts at quarterback, including his final 34 games, the longest streak for an Arkansas quarterback since the school joined the SEC in 1992. Allen finished second in program history in career pass completions (583), second in attempts (1,016) and third in completion percentage (57.4). As a senior in 2015, he led the SEC in passer rating (166.48), yards per attempt (9.3) and touchdowns passing against conference opponents (21).
The Fayetteville, Ark. native is the fourth selection for the Jaguars from Arkansas, and the first since the team chose Chris Smith in 2014 (159th overall).

Tyrone Holmes, 6-4, 250, tallied 87 tackles as a senior, including 21.5 tackles for loss and 18 sacks, which led the nation and earned him FCS Defensive Player of the Year honors. During his junior season, Holmes earned Big Sky Conference all-conference honors after he recorded 14 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks. The Eagle Point, Ore. native played in all 11 games and started in one as a true freshman.
Holmes is the first Montana player to be drafted by the Jaguars.
