WR's Doss & Robinson hurt at practice

Tandon Doss has a sprained ankle and Allen Robinson has a mild hamstring strain

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Gus Bradley talks to his team about "Murphy" quite often.

Murphy's law reared its ugly head at day 6 of Jaguars training camp as not one but two wide receivers did not finish the workout due to injury.

Tandon Doss badly hurt his ankle on the final play of the practice session as LB Geno Hayes rolled on top of it.  Writhing in obvious pain, the trainers put an air cast on it and helped him off the field as practice finished.  After an MRI, it was revealed to be a sprain and not a break, however Doss will miss significant time.

Rookie receiver Allen Robinson already missed two weeks of OTA's with a hamstring injury.  He felt tightness in the same hamstring midway through practice and did not finish.

"It's more of a precaution that we held him out" Gus Bradley said after practice.

Bradley went on to say that while it could be an opportunity for receivers further down the depth chart to rise up, more reps may not be such a good thing.

"I think the challenge for us now is when you do lose some numbers is to not to pile up the reps on other guys. That will be the challenge for us right now. So we'll take a look at it and get a feel after we get a report from the trainers where we're at."
