Paul Frase tackles marathon to raise awareness for myotubular myopathy

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.

The holiday season is a time when many of us think about our family members who are no longer with us. As a way to honor his son, former Jaguars defensive lineman Paul Frase has traded in his football cleats for running shoes. Joshua Frase died from complications of myotubular myopathy in 2010.

The disorder blocks the development of skeletal muscles and leaves children with respiratory issues. This Saturday Frase will run in his second marathon to raise awareness and funds, for the disease that took his son's life.
