LONDON -

According to the Daily Mail in London, Jaguars owner Shad Khan is in negotiations to buy the Fulham soccer team.

The Mail adds that "buying Fulham for a price in excess of £150m would allow (Khan) the opportunity to promote both sports brands to maximum effect in London." They also incorrectly reported that the Jaguars do not sell out any of their games in Jacksonville.

Fulham FC has been owned by Egypitian millionaire Mohamed Al-Fayed, who has invested more than 200 pounds into the club, bringing them up from the English 4th division to the Premier League.

The reported sale price is nearly $200 million U.S.

Khan, who does Flex-N-Gate business overseas, has targeted London as an emphasis since taking over the Jaguars – the team has committed to playing one “home” game apiece for four years starting this October at Wembley Stadium.
