Staci Spanos has been a proud part of Channel 4 since 1997, having come to Jacksonville from a reporting/anchoring job in Lubbock, Texas.In that time she has reported on the Jacksonville City Council, Duval County School Board, Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, and was also on the front lines of Election 2000 and 2004.Staci has also covered local issues arising from the attacks on Sept. 11, anchored coverage for the start of Operation Iraqi Freedom, the capture of Saddam Hussein, and the tragedy of the Space Shuttle Columbia in 2003.Staci is currently the anchor of Channel 4's the morning show, a fast-paced blend of news, interviews and feature stories.Staci is proud to call the University of Florida her alma mater. She graduated there with a degree in telecommunication in 1994. Among her most fulfilling accomplishments is being a mother to a daughter and son and a wife to her husband, Tom.
