JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Two tractor-trailers overturned in separate crashes Tuesday morning in northeast Florida -- one in Duval County and one in Clay County.
A flatbed truck transporting crushed cars lost its load on Lane Avenue on the Westside just before 8 a.m.
The driver was making a right turn off Guthrie Road onto Lane when the back tires of the semitruck went into a ditch. The truck fell onto the train tracks and lost the load of cars.
The road reopened just before 12:30 p.m.
In Clay County, the driver of a tractor-trailer lost control on a curve on County Road 315 between Fuzzy Lane and Shed Road just before noon.
The big rig (pictured, right) overturned on its side, and the driver suffered a minor arm injury.
The road was expected to be cleared by about 1 p.m.
