JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Downtown Jacksonville will be a popular place on Saturday, with several family-friendly events set to take place throughout the day.
The first thing on the agenda is the Color Run. The race starts at 9 a.m. at the sports complex area.

The run is a one-of-a-kind event that is less about speed and more about enjoying a color crazy day with friends and family.
It's not too late to sign up. Runners can register at Sports Authority off Southside Boulevard until 7 p.m. Friday.
Officers will be stopping traffic to let runners by along Gator Bowl Boulevard from 9-10 a.m.
Following the Color Run is the Run 5 To Keep Kids Alive race. It starts at 2 p.m. at the Jacksonville Landing.
The race supports Wolfson Children's Hospital. Channel 4 meteorologist Richard Nunn runs every year, except he does a whopping 55 miles for the kids.
Officers will also be stopping traffic to let runners by for that race.
Prepare to see police on the Main Street and Acosta bridges from about 1:30-2:30 p.m.
And then there's the U.S. Women's National Team's soccer match against Scotland at EverBank Field at 5 p.m.
The team has been in town practicing much of the week.
Those heading to the stadium should try to cross the bridge into downtown that's closest to their parking space to avoid sitting in traffic.
To avoid all the afternoon traffic downtown, it's best to use the Hart Bridge, Union Street Expressway or Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway instead.
For most of the weekend, the Mathews Bridge will be closed, starting at 7 p.m. Friday. It will be back open at 6 a.m. Sunday.
