ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. - A dump truck flipped upside down, causing a major traffic backup in all three lanes of Interstate 95 southbound near County Road 210 on Wednesday afternoon.
The crash happened just after 3 p.m., stalling traffic for hours. The truck was carrying asphalt, which was not hot, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The southbound lanes were temporarily blocked by emergency vehicles. The driver of the truck was flown to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The truck overturned in the median, spilling asphalt in one northbound lane.

Traffic remained slow-moving at 5:30 p.m.
