Firefighters: Motorcyclist injured after hitting deer

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A motorcyclist was airlifted to a hospital Wednesday morning after colliding with a deer, according to St. Johns County Fire Rescue.

Firefighters and law enforcement responded to the crash in the area of State Road 206 West in south-central St. Johns County.

When they arrived, crews found the motorcyclist, who had hit a deer.

The motorcyclist was treated by SJCFR paramedics and was airlifted in serious condition to Orange Park Medical Center.

Law enforcement will be handling the traffic crash investigation.
