PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. – A 41-year-old Interlachen man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Putnam County on Tuesday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
State troopers said Michael Stoeffler was driving east on State Road 20, east of Whippletree Court, about 8:40 p.m. when his pickup truck veered onto the grass shoulder of the road, swerved back onto the road and lost control.

Troopers said the truck overturned and Stoeffler was thrown from it.
He was taken to Putnam Community Medical Center, where he died.
Troopers said blood alcohol content results are pending.
