PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – A young man was killed Tuesday night in a single-car crash in Ponte Vedra Beach, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
William Covington, 23, lost control of his 2006 Acura TSX about 10:30 p.m. while driving on A1A near Gnarled Oaks Drive. His car slid off the roadway and overturned.

No other vehicles were involved.
