- Flooding: The St. Marys River remains nearly 3 feet above flood stage, but the water continues to drop. The water level in the Flea Hill neighborhood is receding, and no structural damage was reported. Camden County remains under a flood warning.
- Sandbags: The public works department has sandbags available. Call 912-576-3028 for information.
- Kings Bay: The Navy set Tropical Cyclone Condition of Readiness III as a precautionary measure for approaching Tropical Storm Hanna. COR III is set when a storm threatens the area with potentially destructive winds within the next 48 hours. All base personnel are asked to review possible evacuation procedures, traffic routes and shelter locations. Trident Refit Facility employees are to call 877-811-8078 concerning work schedules and any possible closings and cancellations.
- Football: The double-header game scheduled Friday at Camden County High School was moved to Thursday. Charlton County vs. First Coast will kick off at 5:45 p.m. and Camden vs. Columia will kick off at 8:30.
