Despite temperatures in the 20s Tuesday night, Occupy Jacksonville protesters remained at their posts.
Members of the movement are staying up in front of city hall in downtown Jacksonville through the night.
"We've got blankets. We'll be alright," said protester Bill Grove.
Vincent Campbell told Channel 4 he recently traveled to Jacksonville from the Occupy Fort Lauderdale movement. He said he doesn't miss Fort Lauderdale because cold temperatures were expected in South Florida overnight, too.
"Why not stay out here? My brothers are up north standing for the same thing up north we're standing for," said Vincent Campbell. "Day in and day out."
Others would seek shelter for health reasons.
"I got a sleeping bag I can curl up in it," said Travis Dunn, another protester. "I got a medical condition. I can't stay out in it. I'll go up to a friend's house."
