Arctic blast to reach Florida on Monday

Monday, Tuesday will be Weather Authority Alert Days

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Kids heading back to school on Monday will be rudely welcomed back by a day of rain and wind, then dropping temperatures, and by afternoon, Arctic cold -- perhaps the coldest weather in more than a decade.

The morning bus stop will be mild, maybe a little wild, and there will be brief, heavy showers.  The showers will be associated with gusty winds to 40 mph, and quickly followed by plunging temperatures.
