Arctic blasts settles in for Tuesday

Weather Authority Alert Day continues through Wednesday morning

Record lows Tuesday & Wednesday morning, followed by a massive warm-up.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Your typical household refrigerator is kept between 33-35° and sure enough, for most of Tuesday, our temperatures will remain like a refrigerator.  Overnight winds and clouds have slowed our overnight cooling to a point where we will threaten, but not break the record low for the day.

The record low for both Tuesday and Wednesday morning's is 21 degrees.
