Awesome weather for The Players

Biggest issues include traffic and sunscreen

Biggest issues: Traffic & Sunscreen

JACKSONVILLE, Fla – Comfy shoes, light shirt, shorts and heavy amounts of sunscreen will go a long way enjoying round one of this year's Players.  Sunshine will be intense, especially in the morning.  The good news: The Players grounds have dried out.  Sitting on the hills should be only slightly moist some of the walking paths will be muddy.

Temperatures will peak around 12 noon, then slowly fade with an ever increasing sea breeze in the afternoon.  This sounds great for spectators, but for the afternoon group of golf pros, it could be somewhat more challenging.  Winds will gust to 20 mph.
