JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

This weekend- crisp and cool, with chilly overnight temperatures, and nice warm up during the afternoon.

Saturday started with temperatures from the 38° to 55°, the chillier locations being West of Hwy 301, and the milder spots right along the beach. Coastal locations also saw light winds out of the WNW overnight as well, with calm winds inland.

Temperatures climbed into the upper 60's to mid 70's Saturday afternoon, with winds building out of the North between 5 and 10mph.  Clear skies, lots of sunshine, and mild afternoon conditions made for quite the afternoon.  No chances for rain, all weekend long.

Saturday night, temperatures dipped quickly after sunset into the chilly range- bottoming out Sunday morning in the low 40's and low 50's.  Clear skies & calm winds overnight contributed to the rapid and dramatic drop in temperatures.

Sunday, expect light winds, clear skies, and a nice warm up, into the mid 70's. Sunday night, the temperatures drop, but not as far, reaching 50° early Monday morning. This marks the beginning of a gradual warm up, putting us back in the mid 80's by Halloween.
