A brutal band of severe weather battered the central Plains and South late Sunday and Monday killed at least 29 people in six states. Storms are expected to rage into Wednesday and could affect a third of the country.

A brutal band of severe weather battered the central Plains and South late Sunday and Monday killed at least 29 people in six states. Storms are expected to rage into Wednesday, and people from the Great Lakes to the Gulf Coast, and from the Midwest to the East Coast, are advised to watch for severe weather.
