Double Trouble In The Tropics

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.
The National Hurricane Center is monitoring a tropical disturbance near the Bahamas with a 20% chance to develop into a more organized and intense system. the disturbance is tracking West, which will lead to heavy rainfall for South Florida as it passes over the peninsula and enters the Gulf.

Northeast Florida will not see much of an effect from this tropical disturbance, a cold front slowly starting into the Southeast will keep the rain further South than our area.

The National Hurricane Center is also monitoring and issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Edouard, swirling around West of the Cape Verde Islands. Intensification is expected into a  Hurricane, but the track keeps the storm out over the Atlantic.
