JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A cold front pushing through the Southeast brought increasing chances for rain this weekend.  Southeast Georgia and inland Northeast Florida saw the heaviest rainfall totals, up to 2" through Tuesday.

Saturday started out cool and sunny. As the bright Harvest Moon set and the sun rose, temperatures ranged from the mid 60's to the low 70's.  Under mostly sunny skies, temperatures climbed quickly through the 70's and into the mid 80's by the noon hour.  Winds were light out of the South, around 10mph.  A few storms popped up along I-75 and the State line after 3pm, but it is not until very late that we see widespread chances for showers, into the overnight hours.
