Overcast Easter Sunday

Cloudy, breezy, with patchy drizzle

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Happy Easter! Unfortunately, the weather isn't cooperating for sunrise services, egg hunts, and other outdoor activities. Temperatures began rather cool, in the mid to low 50s. Cloudy skies and patchy drizzle persisted through the morning hours as northerly winds picked up.

Sunday afternoon, expect breezy winds out of the North between 10 and 20mph. Clouds will persist along I-95, while some inland clearing occurs during the afternoon. We have a small chance for an actual shower along the coastline of southeastern Georgia during the early afternoon hours.

Inland counties will see partial clearing during the day, allowing for warmer temperatures into the 70s. Cloudier counties will struggle to reach the mid 60s for an afternoon high.

Expect overcast skies overnight with gradual clearing forecasted during the day on Monday.
