Mild, sunny Monday

Warm afternoon temperatures under sunny skies

Sunny skies & warm temperatures made for a great President's Day.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Sunny skies made for a quick warm up Monday morning. By the lunch hour, temperatures approached the low 70s, with the exception of the beaches, which stayed in the upper 60s. Light southeasterly winds ranged from 5 to 10mph as temperatures continued to climb in the afternoon.

Afternoon highs ranged from the low to mid 70s, with the warmer temperatures over inland areas. High pressure has settled over the southeast- clearing our skies, eliminating our chances for rain, and enabling dramatic swings in temperature.
