🔒That’s Nunnsense, This Old Boat Repair Continued (Part 4)

Progress! We are finally moving forward on the old boat project. If you are new to the series, I bought a 1995 Scout 162 Sportfish. A day on the water turned troublesome when a poorly patched hole in the hull opened up.

In this episode we, yes, we are moving forward with some of the products shown in the last episode. I say, we, since so many of you watched the boat flipping and the demolition and now, we are ready to move forward and get this boat afloat.

After removing all the water damaged foam, it is time to refill the cavity from the stern to the live-well and the port side gunnels. By the way, the stern is the back or aft of the boat. A live-well can keep your bait or your catch alive in water. It’s also makes for a nice self-draining cooler if you want to keep your beer or water frosty.

I hope you enjoy this episode whether you are watching for entertainment or education. You can check out all my That’s Nunnsense content here.

In our next episode, there will be a lot of sanding and grinding as WE continue to shape the hole for the soon to be applied resin and fiberglass.

Time wasted is nonsense. Learning something new, That’s Nunnsense.
