Let's talk tropics!
Ok friends- here we go.
I'm tracking two systems with potential for development, but only 1 will potentially impact us here in NE Florida.
That system is an area of low pressure that's likely to develop northeast of the central Bahamas and move generally west. This could bring immense amounts of rain not only to us in Florida, but also to the Coasts of GA and SC in the coming days. The heavy rain threat could begin by late Wednesday or Thursday for us here in Florida.
We will track this system, and update you as it potentially develops.
The second system is a broader area in the Yucatan, and will impact southern Texas and Mexico.
Here at home, highs are in the 80's and 90's- a small chance for an afternoon pop-up shower into the heat of the day this afternoon.
Your UV Index is very high- lather up with the sunscreen.
