They may have come in last, but a pair of twin sisters in Illinois won the hearts of everyone watching the state track meet.
Chloe and Claire Gruenke, both 13, were running the 800 meters when Chloe told St. Louis TV station KTVI she felt something pull and pop in her leg.
She couldn't go on and fell to the ground.
That's when Claire put her sister on her back and carried her around the track to the finish line.
She said she did it because sportsmanship is more important than winning.
"The energy from the crowd made me stronger," Claire told KTVI.
