Cops: Man steals bread truck, makes deliveries

Clad in only his underwear, man drops bread at random businesses

A man has been arrested after police said he stole a bakery truck in New York City and began delivering bread to random businesses.

And he was only wearing his underwear.

According to The Associated Press, David Bastar hopped into the truck early Monday while the driver was making a delivery on Manhattan's Upper East Side.

He then began dropping off boxes of rolls and bread. Just not to the bakery's customers.

The baked goods were worth about $8,000, according to the New York Post.

Bastar, of Nanuet, has been taken to a hospital for evaluation.

He faces charges of criminal possession of stolen goods and driving without a license.
